Another Church? Why?

Because we know there are people who don’t feel they have a community in which they can belong. Maybe you have been disinterested in church or just haven’t found a church that  authentically represents an accurate picture of God and this world. Christ Community is a gathering of flawed individuals who are finding purpose and meaning from the life and death of Jesus. We are learning to believe the gospel and live it out in the context of community and mission.

Our goal is to not be a “bigger or better” church, but to simply make disciples who treasure Jesus above all things.

What are you about?

The values that define Christ Community are grace, renewal, and mission. The central theme of the Bible is grace given to the undeserving. Our aim is to help people experience the grace of God while being gracious to others. The combustive nature of grace leads to renewal. Renewal within an individual results in true joy, trust and rest. A community of folks experiencing personal renewal will regularly seek the renewal of their city through redemptive acts of love and justice. Mission is being outward-focused with a desire to reflect God’s grace to others in need of God’s grace. We value grace because we so desperately need it.
