Jake Adams - Member Spotlight

Hello Jake, where are you from?

I grew up in Trussville (AL). Shortly after getting married in 2000, my wife and I moved to Helena.

What do you do?

I am a physical therapist and manage 3 outpatient clinics in the Birmingham area.

Tell us about your family.

My wife, Kerin, and I have been married for over 10 years. We have 2 boys, Luke (7) and Jackson (5).

What do you truly love?

In my free time, I enjoy playing golf and spending time playing any sports with my boys. During the fall, you will certainly find me watch the Crimson Tide!

When did you discover a love for Jesus in your heart?

I became a Christian during my 5th grade year. I am blessed to have parents that both instructed and modeled Christ to my sister and I growing up.

Tell us of a time when you've been overwhelmed by God's grace or work in your life.

I am amazed daily at God’s overwhelming grace in my life. I, like all of us, struggle and fail on a daily basis. I have a true comfort knowing God’s grace is there for me, and will always be there to pick me back up.

What do you enjoy or value about Christ Community Church?

Christ Community offers me a place to both grow in my own individual Christian walk, as well as a place to help other grow. It is a vital part of our faith to avoid becoming all consumed with ourselves and forgetting to point others to Christ. I am so excited to grow in my relationship both with Christ and with the members of CCC.
