Men’s Ministry

What is one of the most significant things you can do for your marriage and family?

To be in constant relationships with other Christian men.

We men often find ourselves isolated and feeling alone.  Even without the current unique economic realities, we shoulder financial uncertainty and often  feel fear and apprehension about the future.  We have high expectations for ourselves as husband and fathers but often feel the despair of personal inadequacy. It may be harder for some of us to share from our heart and much easier for a us just to stuff-it  and feel a sense of pseudo masculinity.  As men, we often feel like failures at many levels. Getting to know other men in a small group Bible study and learning to open up about  your vulnerability ad struggles in a safe environment can truly be a blessing to your loved ones and encourage you with the hope that God really will accomplish the work that He began in you.

Events/Times

A number of CCC men met over the summer at the Cracker Barrel at Hwy 119/I65.  We are currently planning to start a Fall Mens Group and are working on the material and meeting time.  Please contact Tom Jackson (tom@dermavista.com) or Pastor Phil (phil@cccbham.org) if you are interested in learning more.
